Following several successful years as a property manager Dan joined Pier in December 2010 and worked his way up into his current role as the company’s Managing Director. Dan has gained several qualifications during his decade within the industry including an Associate level qualification within the RICS and Fellowship of the IRPM. Dan is comfortable completing most property management related tasks ranging from complex legal tribunal matters to overseeing high value major works projects but now spends most of his time dealing with corporate matters. In his spare time Dan is a keen cyclist and also enjoys travelling.

Sarah has over 15 years of experience within the property management industry. Sarah started her career managing a large residential portfolio and has since worked for both national and smaller managing agents allowing her to acquire a strong knowledge across the sector. Sarah has gained several qualifications during this time including AssocRICS, IOSH and MIRPM. In her spare time Sarah enjoys travelling and has a keen interest in motorsport.

Gemma is a qualified solicitor with over 12 years post-qualification experience specialising predominantly in Leasehold Reform matters. Gemma cut her teeth at several well-known London city firms providing her with a wealth of experience and technical knowledge. Gemma joined Pier in 2023 to head up our legal department, overseeing all facets of legal work. Outside of work Gemma has a busy family life but enjoys watching Liverpool FC and F1.

Mark joined Pier Management in 2017 as a data analyst. He progressed to the role of Asset Manager in 2019, focussing on incoming lease extension and enfranchisement claims. During his time at Pier, Mark has achieved AssocRICS qualification and is now a RICS registered valuer. Mark subsequently gained promotion to the role of Head of Asset Management in 2023 and now oversees a team of three. During his spare time, Mark finds pleasure in exploring new destinations, attending the gym and riding his Harley.

Rachael joined Pier in August 2015 as a Credit Control Administrator, 2 years later Rachael was promoted to her current role managing the Credit Control Department. Rachael oversees the entire invoicing and recovery process for the UK freehold portfolio and manages a team of 6. Rachael is keen to continue her development and recently acquired her MIRPM qualification. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys competing on her horse, socialising with friends and family or attending the gym.

Theresa has over 14 years’ experience working in various roles within the Property Management industry but mainly Pre-Sales Enquiries, 10 years of which were for a city firm.  Theresa joined Pier Management in 2015 assisting the Legal Team whilst gaining knowledge of the procedures for Lease Extensions and Enfranchisements and also assisting with the Pre-Sales Enquiries.  In 2018 Theresa was promoted to Team Leader for the Pre-Sales Enquiries department due to her previous experience and wealth of knowledge.  In her spare time Theresa enjoys travelling, socialising with friends and exercising.

Stuart joined Pier Management in January 2021 having spent over a decade working within the financial sector. Stuart brings a wealth of data management and analysis experience and employs this skillset to manage both our data analytics team and our technology division. Stuart has a broad role at Pier but primarily focuses on improving data reporting to the group and driving new technologies to improve efficiencies.

Outside of work football plays a big part in Stuart’s life; an avid Liverpool fan and the head coach of a local under 11’s football team. When not running up and down the pitch Stuart enjoys long walks with the family and their beagle ‘Daisy’.

Ella joined Pier Management in 2017 having completed her Law degree with first class honours. Since joining Ella has continued to build her knowledge within the leasehold reform sector and has involvement in all matters from lease extensions to Right to Manage claims. Ella’s strength lies within technical matters that require a deep understanding of the legislation and its practical application. Ella has continued to study since joining the company and has been sponsored to complete her journey to becoming a Chartered Legal Executive which she achieved in August 2023.

Ella is keen to travel, and spends her holidays hiking with friends and relaxing on the beach with a good book. Ella unwinds by watching films, practicing yoga and evenings out with friends.

Following the graduation of her Business Studies degree, Katy spent 16 years in the home insurance relocation sector. Katy Joined Pier in September 2023 as Insurance Officer overseeing the instruction and placement of buildings insurance across the portfolio. Katy’s prior knowledge of  insurance claims has proven invaluable in helping the team drive efficiencies and improve processes. In her spare time Katy enjoys outdoor walks whilst devouring podcasts on true crime and historical events.  She is a keen Arsenal fan, attending both men and women’s games. For balance, and some calm, Katy has recently taken up Yoga.

Hannah joined Pier Management in January 2020 as the company’s first Office Manager; just a few months later Hannah was dealing with the unprecedented circumstances of Covid and migrating the company to a remote working set up.

Hannah has over 10 years’ experience in Facilities Management providing health & safety support and working alongside HR departments. When not working, Hannah enjoys training at her local gym and is currently studying for her level 3 in CIPD People Practice to expand her knowledge in HR.
