There are few things more important than ensuring that your property is protected by an All Risks insurance policy. The policy provides levels and limits of cover that best suit your needs. It guarantees that should you ever need to make a claim, it will be dealt with in the most professional way possible. As you would expect, the policy is provided by a reputable insurer, therefore providing a high level of security and service.

The property insurance policy provides cover for damage caused by storms, flood, fire and many other events. This includes replacing kitchen units, baths and showers, and other landlord fixtures and fittings. The policy also covers damage to the roofs, walls, ceilings, floors, doors and windows, as well as outdoor structures including garages and boundary walls.

The property insurance policy also covers damage to interior decoration in common parts and even extends to cover any underground tanks, pipes, cables, and drains within the premises. The policy will also cover the full cost of rebuilding the property including costs such as demolition, clearing the site and architect’s fees.

The policy does not cover tenant or leaseholder contents. We therefore recommend you arrange your personal contents insurance through a reputable insurance broker or direct with a reputable insurer. Pier Management do not offer this service.

In the unfortunate event that you do need to make a claim under the property insurance policy, your case will be personally handled by a dedicated claim specialist from the nominated loss adjuster. They will provide you with all the assistance you need, from your initial claim through to the completion of repair work.

The claims procedure provided below outlines the service you can expect when making a claim, as well as what is expected of you.

Below are copies of the Policy Wording, the Claims Procedure and a Risk Management Guide which provides helpful tips on protecting you and your property. In addition, please find the Unoccupancy Guidelines; it is suggested these are implemented if your property becomes unoccupied for more than 30 consecutive days.
